Trainee Surgical Instrument / Medical Device Repair Technician

Job Summary

You will train to repair and service a wide range of Surgical Instruments and Medical Devices for our hospital customers in the UK. Within this role you will:

  • Learn the repair process for Surgical Instruments.
  • Learn quality requirements and specifications of each Surgical Instrument.
  • Learn the basics of repairing a medical device, sharpening, bead blasting, polishing.
  • Understand how to operate polishing wheel safely.
  • Understand how to operate lathes and milling machines.
  • Understand how to operate sharpening/ grinding wheel.
  • Collaborate with and learn from the experienced team around you.
  • Abide by and ensure health & safety policies and procedures are followed.

The applicant for this role does not need any previous experience but should always be punctual, hardworking and meet targets and objectives set for the role.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and will be provided with all relevant equipment/ tools and uniform.

Experienced Surgical Instrument Repair Area Manager

Job Summary

Due to continued growth we require more Experienced Area Managers to look after our customers around the UK.

You will have probably been working for another Surgical Instrument Repair Company to gain the level of experience we require for this position.

The job entails collecting Surgical Instruments and Devices from hospital customers in your designated area as well as creating and developing relationships with new customers.

A good, recent knowledge of all aspects of Surgical Instrument and Device repairs is required as part of the job is offering help and advice to customers regarding repairs.

As well as repairing Surgical Instruments we also supply new Surgical Instruments and you will be assisting customers identify what they require from a vast range with the use of catalogues and samples. Knowledge of all types of Surgical Instruments and Surgical Procedures is essential.

You will enjoy being part of a friendly team within our new yet rapidly expanding company.

The successful candidate will receive a very competitive salary plus open ended commission and will be provided with a company vehicle.

Experienced Endoscope Repair Technician

Job Summary

Due to continued growth we now require another Experienced Rigid Endoscope Repair Technician to work in our Optical Lab in Hertford.

You will have probably been working for another Surgical Instrument Repair Company or OEM to gain the level of experience required for this position.

A good, current knowledge of all aspects of repairing all makes and types of Rigid Endoscopes is required.

Although you will be very much part of a team, the position will entail working on your own initiative to complete repairs of a wide range of endoscopes to a very high standard.

You will enjoy being part of a new yet rapidly expanding company, working in a modern workshop equipped with the latest machinery and having access to the highest quality materials and parts.
